Countdown to 2008!

Happy New Year everyone!

Didn't know what to do for New Year's eve. Normally we'll be in Agape for watchnight service. But Yeah! Cindy, A. Jenny's sis, invited us for countdown at her place. We had dinner at Tsing Yi before we left for her home at Wan Chai.

We arrived there about 10 plus and we were shocked. They had guests over for dinner with the Ongs and Woons. It was a very formal dinner. The guests were wearing suit. Wow! It felt like I was watching the movies when we sat at the living room. Haha! I only see dinner like this in tv. Suddenly, I felt I was in Europe : P I was told that all the guests were Danish. It's normal to dress up for special dinners.

It was really really nice to spend our New Year's eve with familiar faces. So happy to see A. Jenny and family. We have not spoken to so many people and so comfortably for weeks : P We really enjoyed it.

The cheese and salami was very delicious. I enjoyed the cheese so much. I was still eating even when I was leaving the house about 2plus am. haha! The desert was superb. Hendrick cooked plum sauce and served with ice-cream. So yummy! Normally, I don't really like these deserts cos it looks red, like cough syrup. But last night, I finished everything.

From Cindy's place, we were able to see some fireworks (and reflection of fireworks on the buildings around) :P So beautiful. The countdown was fun. Then, we had champagne and coffee and chatted into the night.

When we arrived at Central MTR, about 2.45am, there were so many people. The train was full. Even the bus we took to our place, also full. So many people were out till so late. Walking back to our block was soooo cold. We were freezing cos when the wind blew, it was like -5 degrees. Crazy!
