Hiking @ Sai Kung

Yesterday night Ada asked us whether we want to go hiking. Without much thought, we agreed. Yeah! And off we went. My 2nd hiking trip in HK - Sai Kung. Never expected till Inness said it's a 9km trail. I think it's called Maclehose Trail. You know la, I only exercise once in a blue moon, suddenly hike for 5 hours, up and down trail. Siow man.

To get to the starting point, we had to take a Bus -> MTR -> Bus which took us about 2 hrs. Finally got there and we started our walk at 12pm from Sai Wan. The beginning was quite alright. After walking about 1hr, we reached the Sai Wan beach. Had tau foo fa, fried rice and fried beef kuetiao. The lunch was so nice cos the place we sat, it overlooked the beautiful sea and big waves.

Today's weather was really superb. Super clear blue sky and cooling. Wow! The sea looked so beautiful. The panaromic views across the hills and bay was awesome. Among all the sea that I've seen, I will rate this place No. 2 after Philip Island, Melbourne. Suddenly, I felt like I was in overseas but this place is just few hours away. "Paul: You're in overseas now." But now this is my home dy.

After lunch, we continued walking. We were singing Christmas carols while climbing up the slopes. Motivation. haha! The toughest was the last 2km. We ended at Chek Keng. But it was a really great adventure. Fun!!!

We left home at 10am and we got home at 8pm. That's not the end of the day yet, we had to go out again right after bath to meet paul's friend for dinner at Yung Kee. That time, my thigh, my butt was cramped and painful. We took cab from the pier to the restaurant. No more walking! By the time I got home, gone case. Salonplas is needed.
