29:11 D'Paradise Outing
Yesterday, 29:11 went for an outing at D'Paradise Malacca. There were Anne, Fer, Bernard, Hazel(not me), Sally, FC, Edwins, Meau, Douglas, Hendry, Bala Sisters, Hui Juan, Sutha, Lawrence, Cheryl and their kids, Yong, Keenan, Eu-Wynn and of course myself. We reached there about 2pm and we started off with fruit tasting. We had passion fruit, jack fruit, yellow and orange papaya and kedondong. Too bad, no durians. Not in season la.
Then, we walked for about 20mins to see some plants before we got on the buggy and went around the orchard. It's a very big orchard. I think if we would have walked around, pengsan man. Moreover, the weather was like super hot. It's not fruit season yet, so not a lot of fruits to see. We managed to see some animals - ostrich, deers, crocodiles, robber crabs etc. We managed to touch and feed some of them. It was fun.
Finally, we watched the aborigine dance. There were only 2 groups of audience. I think because I sat right at the centre, the guy picked me and asked me to join him - dance and shoot the balloons. The 'stick' was heavier than me, how lar I can shoot. Argh! I tried a few times finally have to just pook at the balloon to burst it. kaka! And I brought back a full bag of passion fruits.
It was fun. We ended about 5pm. Some left to Sban and some went for dinner. We had a delicious meal at the Portuguese Settlement. Seafood, seafood, seafood!! Yummy and the super thirst quenching mango juice. After dinner, 2 cars left for Sbn and the 1 and only car went to Jonker Street and I was one of them.I reached home at 12plus and was so tired but it was a great trip :)
