Lee Hom's Concert 07

No time to blog about CNY yet... Just blog this one 1st.
Yesterday, I went to watched Lee Hom's concert. It's been a long time since I watched a chinese concert and of course for Paul, it's his 1st time. haha! Someone gave me 2 tickets so not to waste it, I asked Paul to go with me. At 1st, he was reluctant, then he said oklar... He really enjoyed the concert. Not that he knows what he was singing. But he loves music so he appreciated the band and music a lot. It was very good. The band was good and of course Lee Hom was good. All this while, I knew he was famous and good but never thought he'd be so entertaining. Wow! He is really talented. Of course he can sing and dance. In addition to that he played drums, guitar, violin, er hu and piano. It's not like he plays a little here and there but he could "goreng" like a pro on each instrument. I enjoyed the violin a lot. He can moved, jumped and danced while playing violin. So geng man! It's a waste that he's not a Christian :P we could do with talent like this in churches.

Since I'm sitting so far, the middle level (RM263 row), the photos are pretty small and not that clear.

There were about 25000 people. Almost the same as Hillsong when I went in year 2004. However, during Hillsong it was winter. Thank God when we were driving to Bkt Jalil, it was heavy rain so we prayed in the car for the rain to stop. Once we arrived, it really stopped and the weather was superb for the concert. Actually, I am not a Lee Hom fan lar. But I screamed once in a while to join the crowd. It was fun. I don't really know his new songs but still remember some old songs la. The fans were crazy. They screamed at every little thing... when he said a sentence or wiped his sweat or received flowers... funny. How can so many people pay so much just to see 1 fella, adore him so much. I think I'm getting old and cynical... : P
