More of YOU

Finally, church camp is over... This year our theme is MORE OF YOU. For about 3 months, the organizing committee have been busy preparing for this camp. This year I'm incharged of Registration and Rooming with the help of Elaine and Edwin. Registration will always not easy. This year we have super early bird, early bird and normal rates. The counter was opened for about 1.5 mths. This year about 148people signed up. Everything went pretty well except the checking in of rooms. Wow! The checking in was supposed to end at 4.30pm but all rooms were only available at 7.30pm. It was so tiring. Just waiting... waiting... waiting.

As usual, this year I was in the advance party team. Advance party means going early one day to prepare and do work and not going there to party la. haha! Who went? Elaine, Kin Fei, Edwin, FC and Sally. Of course, Paul can't join us cos he has to play for Sunday Service and pack the instruments to church camp. A funny incident happened when we went on Sat. When we arrived, there were banners everywhere stating that Jaclyn Victor will be there for a charity dinner. So I was asking why so many people today? Someone said because the Malaysian Idol, Jacykln Victor is here la. Then, Edwin who was in another car came over and I asked. Why so many people? So I macam pandai sangat, told him, the Malaysian Idol, Jaklyn Victor is here ma. Ok nevermind. When Elaine and I was at the lobby of our rooms, 3 people went into the lift and a girl asked us Do you want to come in? We were waiting for the rest so Elaine said nvm, it's ok. When the door closed, Elaine asked me, do you know who is that? I said who? Elaine said, Jacklyn Victor lar. haha! It was so funny. I thought she works in the resort and bringing people to see the rooms. What a joke man.

Ok... back to church camp. This year was fun BUT I had diarrhea on the 2nd day so I can't go and play with them after service. I slept early cos very tired. Too bad. I ate something wrong. Went to toilet for 7 times from 1am till 8am. Not sure why. Maybe old dy, most of us like super tired. We didn't sleep later than 1 plus and woke up about 8am, but we felt super tired man. I think I was still recovering from my diarrhea and have been running around.

Overall, camp was fun. I really enjoyed it. I felt very refreshed. Thank God for his touched. God's presence was so real. The day fellowship was great. Looking at the uncles and aunties playing games, water games. haha! Even pastors joined us this year. Definitely, will be at church camp next year.
