Trip to Johannesburg

I've been really busy lately as so many things cropped up suddenly. Going to South Africa wasn't in our plan at all and pop! we're back. I left on Sun and got back today. We went to Johannesburg. I love the weather as it was winter. But we were not ready for such a cold one. It was the coldest winter over 20years. Crazy. I think the windchill was minus 5. We didn't bring many winter clothings but thank God i brought my trench coat as it really helped a lot. The place looked hot especially by viewing the pictures. We looked kinda weird in pics - wearing winter clothing in a hot weather.

South Africa is a really beautiful place. Many vast open landscapes. Many places looked like a desert. The sunset and sunrise was magnificent. I just wished I have more time to enjoy all these. God's creation is so awesome. 3 main places we went are the rocky mountain, a used mine mine and open land. Climbing the rocky mountains was a great experience. Never thought I would actually climb up a mountain. Climbing up was not a big prob but coming down was the major one. The sun went down about 5plus so we had to rush down before the light went out. Going down was tough because it was dark, couldn't see the path well and it was slippery. Had I slipped, I would have fallen off the rocks. I actually had to sit on my butt and duck-walk down. haha! My legs were so tired the next day. But thank God I'm alive.

Check out my album(on the right menu) for more pictures.
