Food Marathon...

It's been a long time since we had food marathon. Yesterday, Uncle Eddie, Aunt Christine, Joanne and I went to Malacca to meet up with FC & Sally. Our mission was to recce Malacca Watercity Resort for church camp. But seemed like our mission wasto fill our stomach with food, food, food and food. hehe!

We started off about 1pm at Tan Kim Hock for durian cendol. Uncle Eddie was not satisfied as he is a durian lover. He said can smell durian but can't taste it. Kinda frustrated. haha! Then, we moved on to Nyonya food. We ordered Nyonya Laksa, Rojak, Curry Chicken rice, Meehoon Siam and cendol. The food was not bad. I love the cendol as the gula melaka smells really good. I ended up buying the gula melaka.

Then we proceeded to Melaka Watercity Resort at Air Keroh. The weather was hot yet we had to walk the whole resort to look for space for outdoor games. The place looks great.

After that, we drove to town again. We were looking for Satay Celup but it hadn't opened yet so we stopped by the food court and had some kuehs and tong sui - kinda like eat while we wait to eat la. We ordered so many types of kueh. We spent about an hour there while waiting for Satay Celup to open. Finally, 6plus we went to eat Satay Celup. Delicious! Nothing great but eating with so many people, it's just fun. Eating and sweating. Finally, our last meal ended with Assam Pedas Fish. Spicy and sour... Thinking of it now make my mouth water.

After so many meals, time to take a walk. We went to Jonker Walk and it was my first time there. Though I studied a year in MMU Malacca, I've never been to Jonker Walk because every weekend I went back to S'ban. keke!
