Thank God for His promises
On Fri, we were sharing about our family members' salvation. Looking back, I've became a Christian about 5 years and have been praying for my friends and family. I really thank God that after so much prayers, I can see changes in my family. My mum is now attending church. She re-dedicated her life during Easter. I was worried that time cos I was thinking it might just be an emotional response but soon I just commit her life to God, praying that God will intervene in this situation. I really thank God that this morning, my mum responded to the altar call. God really touched her and she got slain. She just wept and wept. I believe the Holy Spirit really convicted her. There's nothing greater than the conviction of the Holy Spirit and experiencing God's presence. We as humans can share with people 1001 times about Christ, but if they don't experience God themselves, they won't believe. It's because 5 years ago, the Holy Spirit convicted me. My life has never been the same since. I am really thankful for He is faithful. In the beginning, my mum wanted to go to the altar many times but was scared and now she just walked out herself. I am so grateful to our heavenly Father for what He has done. And now, my father is attending church once in a while. Though he hasn't given his life to Jesus but I know he is beginning to open his heart. God is good and I claim His promise which says,
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household." (Acts 16:31)
