Laptop Koyak

Sal told me, "I think you overworked your laptop". I think so ler... Since I got this Christmas prezzie in 2004 till now I've used it to the max. It follows me everywhere I go. I fully utilized it like anything. Not much rubbish, not much chatting but mostly 'real work'. Paul complained, "Cannot open so many programmes at the same time one". But designing is like that lor... I need so much info ma.

So what happened? Last year, the hard disc was having some probs, the dell guy came to change a new one for me. Remember? Anyway, I lost some of the data but not all. Yesterday, my wireless card was having some probs. Another dell guy came to fix but he did everything including changing a new wireless card but can't. So he said ok, now i have to format your C drive. Since I've backed up the data, so I said oklar cos he said it's ok one. Ok, what happened after that? Argh! I forgot to back up my incredimail. So basically I lost all the emails (but thank God I still have all of them in gmail) but I lost the contacts which gmail doesn't have most of them. Aiks! Based on the detailed conversation with him, seems like he was wrong too. I don't know lar... not blaming totally on the guy but my own carelessness also la.

But overall dell's support system is pretty good. I like dell. haha! Promoting pulak...
