CNY '06

This year I had a great New Year. I managed to meet up with so many friends.

CNY Eve

I came home from KL yday and stayed over in my parent's house. Since I got married, this was the 1st time I came back to stay. This year Paul and I had reunion dinner in my house instead of Paul's family in KL. Since it was only my parents, my eldest bro and sis-in-law, we decided to join them. My 2nd bro followed his gf to Terengganu. We had steamboat at home. Of course, there was a lot of food. I had a great time eating with my family. No more at home, but coming back for reunion dinner felt really nice. haha!

CNY Day1



Since becoming a Christian, this is my 1st time experiencing CNY on Sunday. So have to go church 1st lor :P We had combined service with chinese dpt. They gave some presentations. Interesting. After service, went back to Paul's house for lunch with his mother's family. Paul's cousins from Spore and HK came too. After lunch, I went to Shiao Yen's house with Selwyn. Many of them were there dy. This year everyone was pretty lazy so we basically just sat there and ate and chatted and watched tv. Yup, we're getting old. Then, we went to Selwyn's house. We did the same thing. About 6plus, everyone cabut and went to Kin Fei's house. I didn't join them as I was going to Kaima's house for dinner.

CNY Day 2



We went over to my house about 12pm. We had lunch with mum and dad. Later in the afternoon, we went to J&J's house to lepak. What a coincidence... Sally and FC arrived at the same time. They bought yee sang so... sigh... eat again. We hung out together for a while then went home to take a bath. Immediately after, we went to Uncle Eddie Kok's house. He belanja makan and most of the Agapeans were there.

CNY Day 3



About 10am, Paul sent me to Jane's house. It has been some time since I met up with her. Then, we picked Pei Tee and went bai nin at Denise's house. This year, many people joined the yearly bai nin event - Jane, Pei T, Li Tze, Denise, Vincent, Benny, Lit Yee, Kah Yean, Chris, Ker Huei, Pei Fen and me. I had a great time catching up with them. The only time we can gather and chat is during CNY.

Denise's house --> Li Tze's house --> Min Kok for lunch --> Benny's house --> Pei Fen's house

Kah Yean gave Ben's family a welcome CNY gift when we went there. haha! She drove her car over something and it got stuck. So some of Ben's family members and the other guys had to lift the car up. haha! She felt so paiseh. We ended our bai nin session at Pei Fen's house. It was a great day. It was great meeting up with the old gang.

Later at night, I went for dinner at Min Kok with my family.



CNY Day 4

Today, we went to Kuala Pilah to visit my aunties and uncles. Good that we didn't need to go to few houses. Just 1 as the other relatives came over to my last aunty's house. We had lou sang and many dishes. Food was good. After that, my uncle taught us how to make 'pao'. It was fun. We were fooling around more than working. haha!



My family stayed for dinner but Paul and I left cos I had to meet up with my kgv classmates. Vinny picked me up and went to S2 Steamboat. Was very shy cos long time didn't meet them. I realized I've actually forgotten some of their names and there were people I had absolutely forgotten - didn't even recognize them... aik! I just couldn't recall. Bad... must meet more often. I was shocked to see Fui Wen. She's back from UK for holidays. After dinner, I accompanied Fui Wen to meet up with Pei Tee, Jane, Ker Huei, Denise & Pei Fen for supper at S2 mamak. What a great day to meet up with so many people. Yet another happy day...



CNY Day 5



I left about 11plus to pick Vinny up. We went to meet up with our KGV jimuiz at Sook Shi's chicken rice shop at RJ. Sui Ling, Stap, Ling and Ek Hui came soon. We had lunch there and went bai nin. We started from Sook Shi's mum-in-law's house to Sui Ling's new house to Ling's house. The weather was very hot so everyone was pretty lazy. They gambled at Sui Ling and Ling's house. Of course I didn't gamble. I was taking pictures and making noise. haha!

For dinner, J&J, Paul & I went to Delifrance at Jusco. Kinda pricey but bcos the boss is an Agapean so she gave us some free pastries and soup :P

CNY Day 6

It has been a long time since we went paktor at PD so we went lor. The weather was very nice. Bright sunny sky. It was blue sky so the sea was blue too. So beautiful. 1st time I've see PD so beautiful...haha!
