What do you really want?

Humans have a tendency to seek self-satisfaction. Many tend to find it in material things – shopping, drinking, clubbing, etc but they will never be satisfied - not for long anyway. We tend to search within ourselves, what we want, what we like, what is best for us, etc… but we never find the real answer. This is because that’s not our purpose in life. For example: We think we want a camera phone but when we get it, then we think maybe we will prefer a smart phone. Or we think being an accountant wil be nice but when we go into it, we think maybe being a financial analyst is better. It never ever ends. There is only 1 thing that will satisfy - that is when we truly find God. Only Jesus can satisfy our soul. The feeling is awesome that is just makes you want to have more of Him. It is not enough that we know He exists. It’s surrendering our lives to Him and trust that will lead us through life. Even Christians struggle in this area. At times, I do struggle too. It’s really not easy but with I know with God, everything is possible. We are imperfect. That is why everyone has weaknesses. If we’re perfect, then we won’t depend on Him. We won’t need Him. The good news is we’re perfect in God’s eyes through Jesus Christ.
