Christmas Party in Gurney

Today, the KL Prayer Group organized a Christmas Party. Everyone was supposed to bring 1 or more friend(s). Actually, I invited 5 of them but none of them turned up. I was pretty disappointed. But it’s ok. Year end is a pretty busy period. There were 19 of us. We had so much food but most of our guests didn’t turn up. I was worried that we might have too much food but I tell you, these fellas are hungry buffalos. Haha! They cleared almost everything. We had roast chicken, bacon pie, salad, all types of sausages, chicken stew, mashed potatoes, spaghetti, garlic bread, honey baked ham, choc log cake, some pastries and brownies with ice-cream. We ate them all. So sinful. Haha!
We started off with an ice-breaker by FC. We were divided into 2 groups and couples of course are divided too. It was kinda complicated game. Lazy to explain. Anyway, of course my group won cos Paul’s lousy!!!! Hahahaha…. Then, Lavinia led us in singing a few carols and makan time begins. We enjoyed ourselves eating and fellowshipping. After a great meal, we exchanged gifts. Each one was supposed to bring a gift costing less than RM5 and they complained how hard it was to buy a gift so cheap. That’s why I made that rule ma… hehe. I just don’t want people to spend so much on the gifts. It’s just for the fun of giving. Anyway, everyone got pretty nice prezzies. Thank God for such a wonderful gathering.
