How's studying?

After 5 days in Tung Ling... so how? Super busy and tired. Have to leave early as it takes about an hour to reach Subang. Moreover, it has been a long time since I studied. Have to start the engine. Using brains really tires me. haha! But the wonderful thing is, I'm studying something I like and interested in... God! There's just so much to take in everyday. I really enjoy myself a lot, studying more about His Word. When I told my mum that I'm going she asked me, "So after that you will become a pastor is it?". haha! Not so easy lar. This is just a 3mths course. This course help me to study more about God. Not only pastors go to bible school. Everyone of us should learn more about His Word. We are supposed to live this life according to His Word and we will never finish learning it all as there are plenty hidden treasures in the Word. We ought to continue to strengthen our faith by digging into His Word.

This week, I started off with 3 days of Christian Character Development. It's really interesting. Ps Voon Yuen Woh was the speaker. He shared a lot on reaching the destination: becoming the image of God. In our life, our focus is to become like Jesus. In order to reach that destination, we have to go through a lot of process - transforming, stirring, moulding, refining etc. It is not easy as we will have to suffer, persevere etc. But of course we will not walk through this process alone because God will be our Provider, Comforter, Restorer etc. It is a very interesting subject. We also learnt the characteristics of the Beautitudes - Poor in Spirit, Meek, Mourn, Hunger and Thirst for Justice, Merciful, Pure Heart, Peacemaker and Persecuted.

Yesterday and today not so stressing. We were doing the DISC profiling. It is very interesting too as we looked into how Jesus handled the D, I, S and C people in the bible. Mr Tan also shared about how the Holy Spirit can help us in improving our weaknesses. This lesson really opened my eyes in understanding others and how to handle them. I think it is very important especially in current ministries. We really have to be patient and love others.

Oh, by the way, today is Paul's birthday. But... he's not around again. Since we got married (only 1yr 4mths lar), he has not spent his birthday with me :( Last year and this year also he went to Pattaya for Ad fest. Aiks! Spending his birthday with his 'girlfriend'. His partner, Brian. Hmm! Hopefully next year, we can spend together lar. But good for him also, lately he's been quite stressed and I think this is a good time for him to release stress. Just spending some time walking along the beach by himself. Both of us have a common thing - sometimes we just like to have a some time being alone. Not that we're angry or sad about each other, just time for ourselves lar.
