My Birthday @ Langkawi

Ya... ya... I know. I'm so silly.
Because of my carelessness, I'm here in S'ban on my birthday.
I left for Langkawi on Monday and was supposed to come back only tomorrow. When we arrived there, while filling out the forms for our rented car, I realized that my return air ticket was written 21st. I remembered clearly that I booked for 22nd. How could I make such a mistake? I was shocked and told Paul immediately. We called Air Asia to make ammendments but they refused. They wanted me to pay more than my current tickets to extend just 1 day. Argh! So, we prayed and asked God for wisdom. Finally, we had decided to come back on 21st. Thank God cos' nothing much to do in Langkawi le :P

We really enjoyed our 3-day trip - short and sweet. We stayed in Sheraton Langkawi. Our rooms were superb. Nicer than our honeymoon suite in Tanjung Aru. The room (or chalet - as they called it) had split-levels - and the bathtub had a "window" that opened up to the room - dunno how to explain le - but it like from Discovery travel le. They had an "infinity-poo" which was very nice. Perfect? Not really ler... the beach was not so good. So small and the water was green, not blue like in the brochure - ha - kena tipu by advertising.

We drove to Pantai Cenang and spent some time there. We had great food all the time. 1st night, we had dinner at Captain's Grill in Sheraton. Oysters (my favourite) as appetizer. For main course, Paul had beef steak with lobster and I had some seafood pasta thingy. 2nd night, we celebrated my birthday at Unkaizan. It's a japanese restaurant on a hill. Very nice ambience. I had my favourite sashimi, sushi and etc. You can't go wrong with Japanese food.

The highlight of the trip came on the last day. We went to this place called Oasis On The Beach. It's a not-to-be-missed place. If you're in Langakawi, you must go there for lunch. It's right by the beach, huge waves, blue sea, reggae music - the atmosphere is sooo relaxing - and they serve great food. The weather on that day was very good. The wind was strong and we sat under the coconut trees. So romantic :P

We reached S'ban about 8pm and went straight to my house for dinner. My dad cooked so much food. Surprisingly, my 2nd bro who just came back from Spore bought me a birthday cake. Ooh! 1st time in my life. So sweet...

So what's my birthday present from Paul this year?
Hehe... I got a swatch watch. Nice or not? I like it a lot. It's so colourful.
