Hungry...

Lately, I've been very hungry. Not physically hungry but spiritually hungry. I really thank God for that. I missed it so much. The 'feeling' of being in love with God... it's just so amazing. If you're a believer, you know what I mean. I've been asking God to stir up my hunger, for more of Him and He did. Told you... God answers prayers. Anyway, I'm not a person who likes to read but nowadays whenever I've a little free time in Canaanland, I'll grab a book and start reading. Though I've no time to complete the whole book, I enjoy reading a chapter or two.

All this while, I knew Max Lucado is a great author but never read his books before. But that day I read one of his books " The Great House of God" and I fell in love with the way he writes. I like it a lot. This morning, I took Max Lucado's bible study book, "Experiencing the Heart of Jesus" and studied the 1st chapter. It's so edifying. (Heh... the benefits of working in a Christian bookshop) But having said that, all in all, the bible is of course still the best - the foundation of everything. Books are just references that can encourage us in our walk with God.
