Family Trip to Bangkok

This is our 1st family trip after more than 10 years. But this time my sis-in-law and Jerry's gf came along too. We were there for 4 days. We had a great time together. My brothers are crazy, they're so good at talking rubbish.
As usual, Bangkok is all about shopping. We went to Pratunam market, Suan Lum Night Bazaar, Sam Bheng, Chinatown, MBK, of course not to be missed, Chatuchak. We shopped till we dropped, but still couldn't finish. The only thing we finished was our money. Arrgh.
We ate a lot... cos my brothers are really crazy about food. We had Brazilian, Thai, Japanese, Seafood and even McDonalds.
McDonalds.
Yes, really. Why? Cos they have pork burger. Yay! It was delicious.
Brazilian
The Brazilian experience was so-so only. 1st, memang not very nice and 2nd, I was not feeling well that night and it was buffet. So wasted. All the grilled stuff like beef, mutton, chicken wings, seafood and etc. It was so tempting. At the end of the meal, I went to the toilet and threw up. UGh! (Sorry, no offense to Brazilians.)
Seafood
We kena con. Terrible. Not by the shop but by the cab driver. We showed him the map and he said ok and set a price to send us there which was reasonable as the place was quite far. But, terrible fella, he sent us to another seafood restaurant just opposite the hotel(make a U-turn). Duh! There's more story here but lazy ler... So we ended up eating there and it was a commercialized place so you should know la - being a tourist, sure kena con ler. Food was not very good. I think the fresh oyster was not that fresh la. Big only. No quality one.
Thai Food
Thai? The tomyam was the best. I just can't stop eating that. Very spicy though.
Japanese
Overall, of course Japanese was the best. It was not as expensive compared to prices at home. Plus they have more variety and the sashimi was very fresh.
Good trip. Good birthday treat. Good time. Thank you, God.
