Young Adult BBQ

I organized a Young Adult BBQ yesterday. About 18 people turned up: Joanne Lee, Kenneth, Gordon, Han Ling, Wei Sheung, Steven, Esther, Yeh Ying, Szet Anne, Pang, Selwyn, Isaac, Ai Wei, Janice, Miao, Shiao Yen, Aunty Jo, Uncle J and our god-daughter, Duchess. No special occasion. Just a get together thingy – fellowship and ‘fei-lou’ship. I really enjoyed myself as I love to bbq. I sat there and bbq about 3 hours. It was hot but I was prepared for it. BBQ ma… that’s the whole idea. BBQ without heat means nothing.
At about 7 plus the fire was already started. Thanks to our heroes, Eugene Goh, Paul and my father-in-law. But oh oo… I saw black clouds coming our way. That was a bad sign… So immediately, Paul said let’s shift to the shades. (It’s a man-made barbecue pit) Ok… the guys helped out and it was quick. But… haha! I was asking paul to arrange the bricks in 4 directions. He didn't know what I meant. We argued "like this, no like that, no, yes, what you mean, what's the difference, bla, bla, bla..." (While, Steven and Wei Sheung, both carrying the hot foil with the burning charcoals, waited for us :P) At last, we managed to moved everything in. What an experience!
The bbq ended about 10.30pm but Pang, Yeh Ying, Szet Anne, Esther and me continued playing Pictionary. It was very fun even though just a few of us. We didn’t finish the game but we had a good laugh over it. So happy that this bbq was fun.
