Crazy Time at Redang

I've not been blogging for some time. Yes... I know. Will slowly back blog some of my stuff. Well, you might think why waste time back blog. Not for you but of course for myself. If you remember I had a post long time ago called "10 reasons why I blog?" dated May 06,2005 then you'll know what I mean.

Anyway, I just got back from Redang. Went with a group of crazy friends - Anne, Lavi, Winne, Kin Fei, Esther, Steven, Paul and me :) It was real fun. It's important who you go with for your holidays. Most of us are 'LOAs' so it's real funny most of the time. (if you get what I mean, probably you're one too). But beware! As LOAs can't be the opposite at times (mood swing). keke!

We stayed at Redang just for one day. Yes, what!! One day... This is because some complications in our Air Asia tickets booking and we had to stay in Kuala Terengganu the next night. Well, after being there, all of us felt that 1 night was sufficient in Redang. We were very tired after snorkelingS. We reached Redang at 10plus in the morning but we already took the plane, the cab and the speedboat. So, can you imagine how early was our flight??? haha.


After checked in, lunch and nap. We went for snorkeling - 3 islands. The 1st one was lousy... not many fish and there were dead corals. The 2nd was better and the 3rd was even better (not best). Paul who had never gone into the sea for about 15years due to his skin sensitivity, can't resist the temptation of joining us for snorkeling. He had so much fun. I think the water was cleaner so he didn't get much rashes. When we got back to Berjaya, he was playing like a kid in the sea. haha! I think we put too high expectations on Berjaya that we felt er...not a nice hotel la. But I won't deny the beach was superb. So beautiful. Look at the pic I took, looks kinda fake. Like a postcard.


At night, nothing much to do so we played congkak. It's been a long time since we played and we really enjoyed it.

The next morning, we went snorkeling again at Marine Park. It was so so so much better. Soooooo many fishes and more live corals. We fed the fish with bread and so many came, shocked. We saw sea cucumber, sea slug (Lavi's fav), super huge garoupa fish etc...

After lunch (bread), we left for Kuala Terengganu. Once we arrived, we were hunting for food. So super hungry. I managed to eat Nasi Dagang. Nice :) Then, guessed what we did. Haha! We squat somewhere at the market and ate durians. So fun! I don't think I've done that before. Crazy friends...In the evening, we went to the beach. We were so bored, just sat there, talking rubbish. Something funny we did. We took Winne and my phone, played the same song. Then, we a few of us did an MTV. Steven recorded it with his video camera and we danced too. kaka! *paiseh* where to hide our face la...


The next day, we woke up at 6plus to watch sunrise. But... we forgot to pray for clear sky. aiks!

Overall, even though it was a short trip(actually we felt like it was a 2 weeks trip), it was fun. Relaxing (??)...
