A New Direction
I just realized I haven't blogged about our relocation. Since they say "better late then never"...
Well, about 2 months ago, Paul told me that he got a job offer in HK. It's from the current company, Ogilvy. However, he was told he still needed to resign from current job too. We were real excited and immediately we took up the offer.
I still remember before we went for holidays in HK last year, Paul never wanted to visit HK and didn't like HK. Not sure why, even though he hasn't visited before. Probably language la. However, since he went last June, he fell in love with HK. haha!
We have been praying for open doors to go overseas for more than a year. No specific country but just prayed. Along the way, there was job offers from Vietnam, Beijing, etc but we declined as we didn't feel it was the right time and 'no peace from God'. But this offer was different. We knew it's the right time and we had the peace. We didn't rush into it but let God be in control. One of the reason that we can leave now also because my parents has given their lives to the Lord and actively serving in Agape. Then, Paul's parents are also busy serving the Lord in Semenyih Church.
Looking back, over the year, we trust that this is the Lord's direction for us. From how we got comfortable with HK, the number of times I went in and out HK this year, how a vacancy just popped up in HK for Paul, how most of our relocation plans fell in place etc. God has been faithful.
Never never thought that this will happen so soon... so sudden... so short notice... but we're ready. We're so excited awaiting that day but 'good' anxiousness within. haha! We feel so blessed and thankful for this opportunity. We will continue to serve Him no matter where we go. Not sure when we'll be back. 3 years? 5 years? 10 years? Not sure. As God leads...
