Rejuvenate & Refire
So excited! Yes, church camp is here. Can't wait to see my friends. Paul, Elaine and I left on Wed night to for Taiping. It was a sleepy and tiring 4-hour journey and we finally arrived at about 1am. We went straight to the room and poop! slept. This year, I didn't share a room with Paul. Instead, I roomed with Su-Ann and Elaine T. It was fun. It has been 2 church camps since I stopped rooming with my friends :( not that I don't like to be with Paul but we're on the same bed for the rest of the year. hehe! Well, he enjoyed staying with the Alexis and Andrew too. This camp, I ate a lot and PTL! I put on 2kg in quite a short time. Mum tapao so much food for us to eat, even after we had packed lunch :P
Then, I joined the youth for jungle trekking. Never expected the trek to be so steep. We had to hang on to the ropes while climbing up the slippery soil. Thanks to ET for pushing my butt and holding my hands, to help me to climb up. She saved me. haha! Quite a number of ppl got bitten by leeches. Thank God I didn't. The funny thing was in the beginning Lavi was making so much noise towards the guide,"Kalau leech gigit saya, bagaimana???"and she stood there and didn't want to move. Haha!On the way down, I picked up a stick as my tongkat. It really helped.

I really want to thank God that my parents made it for camp. This is their 1st time. Before I arrived, this sms came from Sally: "Your parents was baptized in the Holy Spirit." Praise God!
I had 2 FAQs the next morning:
1) What time did you arrive?
2) Do you know your parents were baptized in the Holy Spirit?
Yeah, they were all so excited and of course, me too. It's great to see my parents growing in the Lord. Thanks to the aunties and uncles for guiding them.
Comparing the years of church camp, I think we (young adults) have aged a little. We didn't sleep so late anymore and 90% of us woke up early and went for breakfast. Maybe bcos we're used to the working hours lor. Well, at least the last night we did play Taboo till 1plus.
We checked out on Fri about 12plus. Some of us left for Ipoh for a makan trip. Kin Sang, Lavi, Larissa & Joanne then Paul, Elaine and I then Steven, Min Chee, Matthew and Pam joined us. We started off with the famous Soya Bean adn Tau Foo Fa then to the same shop that I went last month. The one selling the yummy pork satay. We also ordered popiah, curry mee, chee cheong fun, ipoh hor fun and rojak. Wow! So nice man.
Our last stop was some famous kopitiam for the white coffee. Superb!!! Oh, we managed to tapao the famous Salted Chicken too. When we went to Ipoh, we met so many Agapeans. So fun!
