Our 1st year anniversary
Time flies... so quickly. It's our 1st year anniversary. We went for to Ciao for dinner. It's an Italian Restaurant at Jln Tun Razak - fine dining style. I had spaghetti and paul had salmon. Then, we ordered desert - tiramisu and sorbet. It has very highly rated but to us it was alright only. cos can't beat the pasta we had in Prague. hehe! We had a great dinner and we exchanged gifts. We agreed on buying something inexpensive but memorable. So i bought him a photo frame and I put lots of our pics in there then he gave me a bear bear which looks like us :P
I've planned to jot down some of my thoughts so that I can recall in years to come :P
What's the difference between before and after married?
To me actually not much difference. The difference is now I've somebody to be with most of the time. Someone to share my ups and downs. The best thing is when I get up in the morning, someone is sleeping next to me and it feels safe and cared. Of course, er... we're allowed to be more intimate than non-married days la - haha...
What I don't like about getting married?
Always kena from people, "When are you going to have babies?"
What I realized after I get married?
I didn't know I love cooking so much :P
What should the dating people learn?
Very important! Be yourself when you're dating so that you won't have to make big adjustments after the marriage - which will normally lead to arguments. And girls... always save yourself for your husband. It's how God intended it to be and it's what makes marriage so special.
What I really thank God about?
I thank God for putting both of us together. My husband is older than me 9yrs...Something that I never thought of. I really feel so blessed with this great gift that God has given me. A Godly man who always support and encourage me in my walk with God. I also thank God that when we're dating, we were just ourselves. It really helps us a lot in our after-married life. And most of all, thank God for leading and guiding us in this relationship. Without God, things would have been tough.
Did I regret getting married so early?
Nope. Definitely not. Not even when we argue (which we hardly, thank God!). If I have a chance to choose again, I'll still say I do. Not so much about having a good life, but finding someone that you love and vice versa.
And of course besides all these, there's more to it.
